Great food, decent price with HUGE portions. Good large salads to with more than just carrots & croutons. Deserves more than 5 stars! We need one in N. IL. Closed Mondays but we called & they were open prob cause it was day of eclipse.
I give this place a five out five. It didn't take long to get the food. Its fresh its so good.
Great food and atmosphere! Everything we had was 5 ! Pulled pork sandwich and smashed cheeseburgers are delicious. Ribs had good flavor and a nice bark. Our sides of Mac n cheese, twisted french fries, brussel sprouts and tater tots were all tasty. Kid meals with custard and sprinkles was a bonus. And crushed ice on the soda fountain for the win! Highly recommmend and worth the road trip!
Had heard good things about this place so Had to make the drive and was not disappointed. We tried several different things Had the turkey platter, loaded tots and a smash burger all were delicious. They have a wide menu even frozen custard Had to take some of that home
I checked for restaurants in Sparta and thought this would be good.. It was perfect. Just like eating smoked tender sandwiches at home. Casual and messy! The turkey club was out of this world. Slaw was oil and vinegar which I love. The servers left us to smack our lips In private after checking up on us . Portions are healthy- or maybe not. Lol. I don't remember seeing this place before. Maybe it's new. Very welcome in Sparta.
This was a recommendation from a friend who lives in town, the location was convenient the place looks nice inside and out. The service was pretty good and the brisket sandwich was really good I am a fan of their BBQ sauce. Everyone in our party enjoyed the meal and it was a great place to meet up. I would also give this place a try if BBQ is what you're craving.
We were there on opening day around 5pm. Wow what a crowd, lol. The line moved pretty fast and after the order food came quick. We ordered pulled pork nachos and the brisket sandwich. Both were exceptional!! I only have one suggestion put a little more Queso cheese on the nachos lol. Custard was delicious! Thanks for bringing a new awesome restaurant to Sparta!
Friendly staff, especially one young lady that seems to be there all the time! Great personality and friendly! Food is delicious and those frozen custard treats are worth a trip!
